THE BETA CRADLE:

Two new beta shots, both from the Cradle, and both of them are here thanks to SubDrag.

Bond is detonating mines, which you don't normally have on this level. But if you look closer, you'll see that Bond's jacket is blue. In the final game, Bond wears his lighter colored Jungle clothing in this mission.

Another screen, showing Bond's blue jacket.

Thanks to SubDrag for these two screenshots.

Since the Cradle is the last of the regular levels, it is highly unlikely that many changes were made to the level itself. But there is one really interesting thing I thought I'd point out here...

After you defeat Alec Trevelyan on the Cradle, you are rescued by a chopper. Of course if you've seen the movie, you'll know that Natalya is the driver of the chopper, seen below in these screenshots from the movie...

Bond makes the jump, and grabs onto the bottom of the chopper, just like in the game. So what am I getting at here?

With Gameshark/AR, you can make the end game chopper appear in the Dam, in full detail, with Natalya at the controls. Isn't this a little too much detail for a chopper that you see from a distance, in a cinema scene for a few seconds?

The only possible explanation for this, is that Rare intended to have the chopper approach while you were still on the bottom platform of the Cradle. From there, I can only assume you 'jumped' off the ledge by walking off, then the cinema scene would kick in.

The detail on the chopper is full, complete with a perfect Natalya model right inside it. It all fits into place.

It also explains another small thing... The chopper is black in the Cradle, but can be made green with the 'no shadows' code. The chopper here has few shadows, and is green, not black, bringing an end to that little mystery why the black chopper turns green with the no shadows code... because it is green.

So, in conclusion, Rareware must have intended for Natalya to approach the platform while you were still in control of Bond. Of course this may have caused a few problems, when was Bond to jump, what angle, ect.
