BETA FAKES:
Unfortunately, many of the pictures
we've accepted as beta pictures are fakes. Most of them are "real" pictures,
taken using a Gameshark on the final version, and aren't from the beta
version. Some of them were cut and pasted from existing beta pictures,
to try and make them look real. I've included evidence in each one to
help prove that it's not from the Beta version.
|
|
Now
this, is cool. The old beta doors in the bathroom, accessed by a Gameshark.
The pics were made with no intention of looking like beta, it’s just to
show that it's possible, and for the rest of us to want the code!!!
Gameshark Code
801C6411 008F
will change the first door, in the right picture. You need a code for
every door. The 008F
can be changed to make it almost any other door from the Game. 8F
though, will make it the Archives doors, shown here. To get the codes
for the rest of the doors, check my Modifier
doors section.

 These
shots are fakes, the text by cut and paste, and the boat from the Frigate.
It's been concluded that Bond probably used the green soviet boat (Gameshark/Action Replay
activated) to cross the island, and not the boat from the Frigate.
I still think that there was something with the Russian Commandant guards.
The 3 that are in the game seem out of place somehow. The one in the Bunker
even carries a PP7, a gun that only Bond uses. Maybe at one point in development,
they were Double Agents. It's definitely strange.

One
of the more believable beta fakes, this one involved no doctoring, cutting,
or pasting. It appears as if the always stationary helicopter in the Frigate
level is taking off, which it never does in the final game... But all
you have to do is activate the levels no clipping code when you're around
Bond's boat, at the start of the level. You can then walk under the ship,
and see the underside of the chopper. If you took a picture, and cut out
the outside of the screen, where parts of the ship are visible, you'll
have this picture. The code is:
D0064F31 0030
800C6BED 0050
880C6BED 0000
Just
press L&R at the same time to activate the code.

The
Multiplayer Character Select screen, with the full names of all the characters.
This screenshot is real, but made with a Gameshark, and not from the Beta
version. I don't think that the characters ever had their last names in
Multiplayer, the words can be activated though, from almost any text in
the game. The text here is from the intro sequence.

Yes.
This picture is a fake too. It was just a screenshot of the Archives,
and Ourumov was cut and pasted into this picture. It's a believable picture
though. Ourumov is there, just like in the movie.

In
this "cinema scene" for the Runway level, Bond appears to be entering
the plane. The picture was made with a Gameshark. You leave Bond's Body
wherever he's standing, and you can walk around, and look at Bond. The
code is:
81036F6C 0000
81036F6E 0002
D0064F31 000C
80024303
0001
During
the game press top and bottom C, then press start. You can go anywhere,
even through doors and walls. You can also go to the island in the Dam,
much faster than normal. Thanks to Matt
for the information, and for the code.

 Here's
James Bond at the bottom of the Dam. He's supposed to be entering the
Facility, yet he stays still, because it’s a Gameshark code. You can make
it so that the level doesn't end when you jump off the platform, and get
to the bottom of the Dam seen in these pictures. Code:
8003 0980 FFFF
Once
down there, activate the get out of Bond's body code. The code is:
81036F6C 0000
81036F6E 0002
D0064F31 000C
80024303 0001
If
it was a cinema scene, Bond wouldn't just be standing there holding his
gun.

This
picture shows Bond meeting Trevelyan outside the washroom. Trevelyan doesn't
have his D5K, or any gun at all, BUT WAIT! Trevelyan is wearing the suit
he wears in Multiplayer, the same one he wears when he is Janus. When
you meet him in the Facility, he is wearing a suit similar to Bond's.
Thanks to Lenium for
noticing some of the details that prove it's fake. *UPDATE: Clever Agent
SolidSnake noticed that there are no crates or boxes in this screenshot!
I can't believe I didn't notice! This picture was done using the get out
of your character code. It is very easy to do. Set up a 2 player match
in the Facility with 006 and the Soldier, then get them where you want
them, and activate the code to leave their bodies, and snap a picture.
The leave body code is:
81036F6C
0000
81036F6E 0002
80024303 0001

Thanks to an e-mail I received, I've concluded that this pic is a fake.
As long as the scar-faced guy is one of the level's faces, you can set
off the Alarm, while Invincible, and kill off all the guys without a scar-face,
until no more will come. Then, snap a screenshot like this one. Most of
the guards that appear will be wearing helmets, so to get this screen,
you'll have to only keep the ones with hats. Also, if it were real, Bond
would have most likely had the old KF7, and not a PP7. *Look at the shot
I took, right. It's practically the same, and it's just from the regular
version.
Left screenshot from l3eta

This
shot, sadly is also a fake. It was probably pasted from the Facility Rocket
Launcher pic. Notice the rough texture of the launcher, compared to the
smooth texture of the rest. Cut and pasted. The docks are the same as
they are now, exactly the same, so it was definitely a cut and paste job.
|
| |
 Here
are a couple of fake pics of the old KF7 in the Surface. The one on the
left was obviously pasted in. The one on the right was done really well,
so it looks almost realistic. Except for the "2" in the "29 ammo", which
looks tampered with.
|
| |
This
picture shows Bond with the old Taser in the Statue. I know it's a fake.
Look at the brightness of the background, and compare it to the darkness
of the Taser. It was simply cut and pasted in. You can even see some of
the airbrushed smudge marks. Sent in by
Trevelyan

This
picture shows a beta alarm. It was likely what the old alarms looked like,
but recently a Gameshark code was discovered to modify the appearance
of this very same alarm in the Bunker. You can even make it a fire extinguisher,
a hat, and other hundreds of things. For this alarm, the code is 801CEEF1
0000.
*Modify
the Bunker's 2nd Alarm: 801CEF71 0000. Code hacked by DetErest
|
| |
This
shot seemed believable, but the word TT33 seemed strange, because you
always see the full name of the weapon that you pick up. The KF7 here
was pasted from one in the Silo, where the angle of the gun, as well as
the ammo are the same.

Here's
Bond on the Dam's Island, and Bond is in front of the gun tower. He looks
awfully tiny. You just use the GS no clipping code,
(D0064F31
0030,
800D33ED 0050,
880D33ED 0000) along with
the small characters code (8005
1D91 0001) and the get
out of Bond code The leave body code is (81036F6C
0000,
81036F6E 0002,
D0064F31 000C,
80024303 0001).
Use no clipping to get there, and once Bond is positioned, you can leave
his body and look at him. The first reply to this mystery didn't leave
a name, so It goes to Robert Ponce, the first person to end his letter
with a name. Sorry to everyone else.

 I've
recently found out that the Bunker screen did feature Bond at one time.
It's in Issue #93 of Nintendo Power. But the picture here seems a bit
too clear to be old, so I'm labeling it as a fake. The Gameshark code
is 800213C1 00A4.
You just have to shoot or blow up the screen, and a similar image appears.
You can also do this in Depot, and Control. I've found out, that
the right pic is in fact a fake. It was well done, blurred and everything.
But when editing the screen, one of the railings was taken out, and not
put back in.
|
| |
No,
this isn't a long lost movie scene with Jaws, it's just the Bond Invisible
cheat with the Gameshark get out of Bond's Body code.
|
| |
 Here
are some new fake pictures of the old rocket. These pictures are exclusively
on my site, and are not on any other site. They were sent to me directly
from l3eta
Bond. If you see these
pictures on any other site, you know where they got them from.
