00 Agent: James Bond
Mission 6: St. Petersburg
Part iv: Disused Military Depot
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
- Destroy illegal arms cache
- Destroy computer network
- Obtain safe key
- Recover helicopter blueprints
- Locate Trevelyan's train
BACKGROUND: The Janus operations
base in St. Petersburg is located in a disused military rail depot.
From here the crime syndicate coordinated illegal arms deals, international
terrorism and extortion.
M BRIEFING: Quite a nest of vipers, 007
- do your best to disrupt the Janus operations. We'd be particularly
interested if you could retrieve their blueprints for a modified version
of the stealth helicopter, it seems they may be thinking of going into
production. We also believe that Ourumov has taken Natalya to Trevelyan's
converted missile train in the depot. You need to be on that train when
it leaves.
Q BRANCH: They've got a pretty sophisticated
computer network hidden away somewhere in that depot, 007. Be a good
chap and shut it down for them. Oh, and don't forget to blow up the
Janus arms cache - I'm just sorry I can't be there myself to enjoy the
fireworks.

Head forward, and around the corner after
the starting point. There will be a guard beside the first red crate.
Kill him to get his gun. Continue on, and head left through these
gates, not bothering to turn around and kill the guards chasing
you.
Through the gates, head straight forward,
until you come to a 'T' intersection. Head left, to this shed at
the end. Step to the side, and open the door. Pick off the guard
straight ahead, and another will appear. Make noise to draw out
the guards behind objects.
Once the shed is clear of guards, crouch
('R' and bottom 'C'), and creep behind the right mainframe. At the
top corner of the room, is a drone gun, (center of red circle).
Just peek out far enough to catch a glimpse of the gun's edge. If
you creep out much further, it will begin fire, and you must retreat
behind until it ceases fire.
Disable the drone gun with your crosshairs
steady over it. Next, head to the desk in front of the big screen,
to collect the safe key for objective "C".
Step back, and blast the screen, because
you need to destroy it, along with...
The two computer mainframes. Once the mainframes
and screen are destroyed, objective "B" is complete.
Be careful when exiting the shed, guards
will be waiting. Shoot the nearby ones, and duck behind the blue
train car visible here.
From behind the train car, you can lean out
('R' and left 'C'), and take a few shots at the guards, then release
'R' and left 'C' to return behind the car. Continue to eliminate
a few guards at a time like this, until their numbers are down enough
to ambush them.
Head straight all the way, until the second
last shed on your right.
Of course, there are guards who need to be
killed inside the shed. You can collect Proximity mines, even a
Rocket Launcher here. Spread the proximity mines over the boxes
on the floor. You shouldn't need to use more than 4 mines.
Since the mines were spread out, destroying
one crate with your PP7 will make all the boxes explode, completing
objective "A".
Head to the exit, maybe placing a Proximity
mine on the door, to clear out any guards waiting for you.
Head straight out the door, shooting only
those in your path. The straight path goes around a fenced in area,
and leads you to this train station, where you go inside.
Head up the stairs, and grab the blueprints
from the safe there. Objective "D" completed.
Head out the upstairs door, and down the
stairs to the big garage, where you can open any one of the doors
to lead you to the train. Just approach the train doors, and press
"B" to open them. All you need to do is hop in.
Objective "E": Completed
Of course there are guards in the train,
but you can watch Bond take care of them in the cinema scene.
