WEAPONS

I've ranked all the weapons in the game, from my personal preference from first to last.

I've tested and compared the different strengths of the game's weapons. View the results of my testing in the WEAPON STRENGTH CHART.

#1: RC-P90: Found in Train (Agent), Jungle, and Water Caverns.

Bullets: Normal, 80/800

The RC-P90 is my favorite gun in the entire game. It shoots bullets at super speed, and holds 80 bullets in a single clip. If there are guards in a row and you hit one, the bullets will go through and hit the next guy. The only downside to this gun is that if you aren't using Infinite Ammo than you will quickly run out of bullets.

#2: US AR33 Assault Rifle: Found in Jungle, Caverns, Cradle and Aztec.

Bullets: Pointed, 30/400

The AR33 also has a high rate of fire, and to top it off, it has a zoom lens to magnify your target. Its zoom lens comes in very handy in the jungle, to see far off in the fog. It to can shoot bullets through people and into others.

#3: ZMG 9mm: Found in Train, Control, Caverns, Cradle, and Egyptian.

Bullets: Normal, 32/800

This gun also has a very fast rapid fire shooting. The bullets seem to flow out smoothly. Sadly though, its bullets do not go through guard bodies like the RC-P90 and the AR33. Another plus for this weapon, is that guards very often carry two of them, so you can kill him and have both of them.

#4: KF7 Soviet: Found in Dam, Facility, Runway, Surface 1, Bunker 1, Silo, Surface 2, Bunker 2, Statue, Archives, and Streets

Bullets: Pointed, 30/400

Even though the KF7 is the most common weapon (other than the PP7), it's still a good gun. It's firing is a bit slower than the Phantom's, but the zoom lens makes up for it, especially when you just need to be a bit more accurate in order to ensure a shot right on target. Up close though, the Phantom is a better gun.

#5: Phantom: Found in Frigate

Bullets: Normal, 50/800

Strange... this gun appears in only one level of the game (without All Guns), and it doesn't appear at all in battle mode. I don't know why, it's a perfectly good weapon. I personally would rather have it in Multiplayer in Automatics instead of the Klobb. But then the D5K would be the secondary weapon, and the battles would be a bit too fair with two different good weapons to choose from. That wouldn't be right at all...

#6: D5K Deutsche: Found in Frigate, Depot, and Train

Bullets: Normal, 30/800

Another perfectly good weapon overshadowed by more powerful weapons. The D5K features very smooth shooting and can be silenced, making it even stealthier for surprise attacks.

#7: Automatic Shotgun: Found in Statue and Caverns

Bullets: Shotgun Cartridges, 5/100

The Shotgun can only be obtained from a Janus Special Forces Guard after Janus reveals himself as Trevelyan (or you could use the All Guns Cheat). Head shots with the shotgun (especially in Multiplayer) do lots of damage.

#8: Sniper Rifle: Found in Dam, and Surface 1

Bullets: Pointed, 8/400

This gun is just a PP7 with a zoom lens. A very strong zoom lens. It has the furthest sight distance than any other weapon. This gun is no good at all for close up fights, so try to pick off guards from a distance.

#9: DD44 Dostovei: Found in Dam, Facility, Surface 1, Silo, Archives, Train (Secret and 00 Agent) and Caverns

Bullets: Normal, 8/800

The DD44 isn't a bad handgun at all, but it can easily be over powered by any of the above weapons. You can also double your power in the Archives by killing one of Mishkin's men. Please note that to get a DD44 in the Facility, the Silo, or the Water Caverns you must shoot a scientist in the arm or leg, and then kill him after he pulls a gun on you.

#10: PP7: Found in all levels (sometimes silenced, other times not)

Bullets: Normal, 7/800

The PP7 might be Bond's weapon of choice, but it's one of my least favorites. There are times though, when I'll use it simply for its silencer when I don't want to attract any guards.

#11: Moonraker Laser: Found in Aztec

Does not use ammunition

OK. This is a great gun, but it's only in a "bonus" level, so I ranked it after the rest of the guns. It should rank 3rd though, if you were wondering. I like it because there's no reloading, and it can shoot through enemies. Sweet!

#12: Golden Gun: Found in Egyptian

Bullets: Golden Bullets, 1/100

Again, a good weapon, but only in a bonus level... Kills enemies with a single shot. Just don't miss, otherwise you'll definitely pay for it. For some reason, shooting can be a bit awkward.

#13: Grenade Launcher: Found in Surface 1, Streets and Jungle

Ammunition: Grenade Rounds, 6/12

Ranked after the rest of the guns because it isn't really a gun. It's a great weapon though, I like it better than the Rocket Launcher, because it holds way more rounds, for way more fun!

#14: Rocket Launcher: Found in Streets Depot

Ammunition: Rockets, 1/3

The mighty Rocket Launcher shoots direct rockets, without the curve of the Grenade Launcher. They are the same strength, however you can only carry 4 Rockets at one time.

#15: Mines: Facility, Runway, Surface 2, Depot, Jungle, Control, Caverns.

Maximum each: 11

Sure, mines are great, but since they're not usually considered weapons, I'm listing them here. Used to clear out enemies in numbers, or destroy larger objects. Timed (about 5 seconds before they detonate), Proximity(sensitive to anyone who comes near), and Remote(detonated by watch).

#16: Tank: Runway, Streets

Ammunition: Tank Shells, 1/50

A massive, driveable weapon. Has the ability to squash soldiers flat. Who wouldn't want to drive one of these things? Can get stuck in cornered areas, but in the open, can reach high speeds and plow though enemies.

#17: Knives: Throwing: Bunker 2. Hunting: Only as Cheat Option

Throwing Knives /12

Hunting Knives: 2: Cannot throw, used for stabbing and slashing.

Silent. Stealthy. Messy. You gotta love the sound effects with these. Sploich. Splitch. Hearing your enemy be butchered with your slashes. What fun! Very useful in Bunker 2 though, since a silenced weapon is only available later.

#18: Grenades: Available in all levels if an enemy pulls one.

Grenades /11

Sure, you can pick up boxes of grenades throughout the game. But the most common way to come across them is from enemy's who have pulled them out, ready to throw them. Just kill him before he pulls the pin!

#19: Gold PP7: Only Accessed as a Cheat Option

Bullets: Normal, 7/800

Now we get to the guns that aren't in the mission. This gun is cool, way better than the Golden Gun, because if you miss, you still have 6 more tries! It's exactly like the regular PP7, but no matter where you're hit, this one will take you down.

#20: Shotgun: Only Accessed as a Cheat Option

Bullets: Shotgun Cartridges, 5/100

It’s big, it's loud, it's fun! I was amazed to find out that it isn't as strong as the quiet, Automatic Shotgun. It's weaker just by a small amount though. This shotgun looks a lot cooler than the Automatic does. I wonder why they made two different shotguns.

#21: Silver PP7: Only Accessed as a Cheat Option

Bullets: Normal, 7/800

Exactly like the Gold PP7, but one hit isn't always fatal. It can shoot through doors though, which doesn't make sense, because it's not as strong. It too is the same as a regular PP7. (stronger of course)

#22: Cougar Magnum: Only Accessed as a Cheat Option, and in Multi

Bullets: Magnum Bullets, 6/300

A super strong gun, shoots through all doors and windows. A head shot results in death. (unless you have enemy health high). The one bad thing is it's shooting speed. It's almost like it's in slow motion.

#23: Taser: Only Accessed as a Cheat Option

No Ammunition Required

This weapon is cool at first, but gets old fast. It's pretty harmless, and it's only for fun. Still though, I would rather use this than the Klobb, so I'm ranking it ahead of the deserving of last place, slow shooting "Automatic" weapon.

#24: Klobb: Found in Surface 1, Surface 2, Bunker 2, and Archives

Bullets: Normal, 20/800

I've put this at the bottom, because this gun is the worst gun in the game. The only way it has any use is if you have two. It is the weakest gun in the entire game, and should only be used if it's your only weapon, it's better than being unarmed. To top it off, it's also slow shooting.
