The super spy with a license to kill. He's the star of the game. Bond must prevent Janus, his former friend 006 Alec Trevelyan from firing the Goldeneye satellite and leaving London, then likely the world in chaos. Bond is surprised to see Trevelyan alive; he was supposedly killed during a mission in the Chemical Weapons Facility.
Natalya was a programmer in the Severnaya Bunker. General Ourumov and Xenia killed everyone but her, and test fired Goldeneye. She escaped, but was captured by Boris. In the game, she leaves the Bunker with Bond before it is hit. Bond has to save her, and she comes along because she is one of the only ones who can disable the weapon.
The old MI6 hero, back from the dead... as a bad guy. A former friend of Bond, whose "death" was witnessed by 007, as he was shot by Ourumov. The violent terrorist Janus finally reveals himself as the believed to be dead Alec Trevelyan. With the help of General Ourumov, and Xenia Onatopp, he stole the Goldeneye satellite. They plan to cause total electric failure with this weapon, erase any transaction of their multimillion dollar bank withdrawal, and end up with "More money than God".
Xenia Onatopp, the ex-soviet fighter pilot helped Ourumov steal the Pirate helicopter and the Goldeneye satellite. She is an expert killer who enjoys her work. Her death in the movie was being squeezed through a tree, while in the game, Bond kills her. She isn't much of a character in the game, You only see her for a second on the train, then kill her in the Jungle. She should have taunted Bond on the Frigate. She tells Bond that "This time, the pleasure will be all mine." This time? They've never even met before in the game
Nine years ago, he supposedly shot and killed agent 006 Alec Trevelyan in the Chemical Weapons Facility. Now, as a trusted Russian General, Ourumov stole the stealth Pirate (Tiger) helicopter along with the Goldeneye satellite with Xenia Onatopp. Ourumov framed Bond, but Natalya told Defense Minister Mishkin that Ourumov was guilty. When Mishkin confronts Ourumov, Ourumov kills him with Bond's gun. Now he and Trevelyan believe they are unstoppable.
Boris was Natalya's friend who worked with her at Severnaya. He was taken from the Bunker by Ourumov and Xenia for his computer abilities needed to operate the Goldeneye. All the programmers at Severnaya are murdered, and the Goldeneye fires at the Bunker after he leaves. He finds out that Natalya survived the shooting and the blast, so he captured her. He delivers her to Trevelyan. In the movie, he gets frozen in nitrogen after an explosion, but in the game we don't get to see the end of him. Natalya will abort the mission if you kill him...unless the tricks and weapons sections is checked out.
Valentin Zukovsky seemed to hate Bond in the movie, and for good reason. Bond gave him "professional courtesy" by shooting him in the knee years ago, and it still aches. In the game, they appear to get along and meet twice instead of once. In the game, Valentin sets up Bond's meeting with Janus and delays Trevelyan so Bond can catch up to him.
Russian Defense Minister Dimitri Mishkin only plays a small role in Goldeneye 007 game. He simply wants to question Bond and Natalya. When you meet him in the Archives, he is convinced that Bond is innocent. Since Ourumov doesn't kill him in the game like he did in the movie, make sure to do it yourself! After he gives you the safe's key, that is!
Jaws is an enormous, eight foot tall goon who holds the key card in the Aztec complex. Along with that, he also happens to have a pair of AR33s. But being so tall, Bond can simply duck at his feet and Jaws can't hurt him. He appeared in The Spy who Loved Me and Moonraker. He was invulnerable in the movie, and even survived the explosion of the spaceport. In the end, he turns to the good side, and helps Bond escape.
Baron Samedi was the voodoo sorcerer from the James Bond film Live and Let Die. This guy has more lives than a cat. Bond killed him several times in Cuba, and he managed to escape death. At the end, he is laughing while riding at the back of the train. Bond also kills him three times in the Egyptian Temple, and completes the mission... But yet, he's still not dead! What does it take to kill him?
A smaller character but still lethal. She appeared in the James Bond film A View to Kill with Roger Moore. She exists only as a character in Multiplayer mode, and cannot be found in Mission Mode... unless you use the Gameshark code "Random Enemies" which does just that: enters random enemies as guards throughout the Mission.
The midget henchman in Goldfinger. He wasn't really short at all in the movie, he was just under average height. His height is exaggerated in the game. In the movie, he used his steel rimmed hat as a weapon by throwing it like a Frisbee. But a metal hat caused him to be easily electrocuted. He too is found only in Multiplayer, but can be in Mission with a Gameshark. He is the shortest character, but that makes him even tougher to hit.
